WordPress Specialist, Digital Advisor, and Community Evangelist
I’ve spent over 26 years building, developing, educating, and translating in the WordPress ecosystem. As the founder of Ellegaard ID, I help clients—from small businesses to large organizations—create tailored websites, whether it’s a simple “business card” site or a complex platform with smart features. My focus is on clean, efficient solutions, primarily using WordPress, but I’m always open to exploring other systems when needed.
Beyond development, I’m passionate about educating and empowering users. I host workshops, write tutorials, and share insights on ellegaard-larsen.dk, where I break down technical barriers and advocate for sustainable, plugin-light approaches.
Community & Collaboration
I’m an evangelist at Aalborg Syndikatet, a co-working space where creativity, collaboration, and innovation thrive. Being part of this community has been instrumental in my work, and I love spreading the word about the power of shared workspaces.
I’ve also been deeply involved in local and regional networks:
- Co-organized Likemind Aalborg, a monthly gathering for creatives and entrepreneurs.
- Served as board chair for NextNord, a non-profit network for digital entrepreneurs in North Jutland.
- Created and taught at We Speak, a language school for foreigners, and supported digital literacy through MRC Computer A/S and pc-manden.
